Lost card

Youth

Lost/stolen youth cards can be replaced online. If online replacement cannot be done, you'll see a message telling you to order the youth card replacement by mail or at your local customer service office.

Access ID transfer

If a replacement card for your lost/stolen card is ordered online, by phone or in person your Access ID will transfer to the new card automatically. If you order a new card rather than a replacement online, or purchase a new unregistered card at a ticket vending machine or retail store, it won't be automatically linked to your lost/stolen card. Call ORCA customer service to help register the card and move the Access ID from the old card to the new.

Autoload on a lost card

If a replacement card for your lost/stolen card is ordered online, by phone or in person any Autoload from the old card will transfer to the new card automatically. If you order a new card rather than a replacement online, or purchase a new unregistered card at a ticket vending machine or retail store, you will have to setup Autoload again. Online Autoload setup takes 24-48 hours for it to activate.

Transfer balance

An E-purse balance can be transferred from a lost card to a card you already own as long as it's registered. To transfer the balance, call ORCA customer service and have both card numbers ready. The E-purse balance transfer will take at least seven days to process. Once the transfer happens, you need to wait 24-48 hours and tap your card for the value to load. Recommendation: A balance on a lost card will automatically transfer to the new replacement card if you report the card lost or stolen online. If your balance hasn't transferred and it's been more than 10 days since you received your new ORCA card, check online for for any "Pending" value or view transaction history. Look for a transaction with a "Card Replacement" in the payment method column. Note: Even when the balance has been transferred, the balance screen for the lost card will continue to display the E-purse that was on the card when it was blocked.
